Hello All!
How can you call that gay. Boom hitting head was a tactic taught by you (Bing Hui).
Here's my side of the story.
Passage Race.
Everyone's first time going, so I end up starting wrongly and ended up as OCS after 2 hours of sailing. For 1h 30mins, Joel Alvin and Bing Hui all behind me on the run.. Then suddenly Joel came from nowhere and we started talking, and then he overtake 1 National sailor which I was chasing for 1 hours plus. You all should see the Nat Sailor's facial expression, he super kan chiong everytime he turn around and see we getting closer. After the bottom mark, we all went from close haul from a run.. When i round the bouy, i HEARD and saw Joel screaming. because..... His mast gooseneck broke! so the boom drop. And of course he is super sad, cause 1. He finally overtook me. 2. He got tolled back all the way from bedok.
Day 1.
Thanks for calling me Handsome Guy. We rigged up and launch, and went for the first race. Alvin was very happy cause he won me by 3 places, then we waited for 15 mins, still cannot see bing hui and joel.. =x. At the 2nd Race(the race that bh got 20th for not finishing), I tack from starboard to port tack cause bias side... but my FREAKING HIKING STRAP snapped!!!! causing me to do a somersaut backwards on the new side... So obviously i could not race upwind and had to go back.. So i had DNF cause of my boat.. Grrr.. then everyone thought they were dreaming cause they saw me on shore waiting for them with their trolleys... so i made everyone happy that day =)
Day 2.
Yes, everyone was tired and even i couldnt lift up my mast properly. Sad thing was, we launched quite late.. and while we were still sailing to the start line, a powerboat told me that it was 2mins to start so i pump my sail and managed to reach the start line.. dumbest thing was.. i OCS caused i started almost immediately after i reached the start line.. but it was so minor and i didnt notice it.. happily sailed all the way and got 13th for that race... quite contented but kanna the shock of my life when it was OCS,44!!!!!
The day was SO HOT and we ran out of water, and 1 hero went back after race 2 with all the water and snacks...
Race 5 was fun cause bing hui was sailing seriously... I didnt even know my boom hit him, because some idiot sailor pushed me from my right, so i got sandwiched btw him and bing hui. Haha, didnt even know he capsized.. =)
Race 6 was the best, even though we were the last few.. shouting at each other at the bottom mark was so fun! then SP guy and BH was ahead and going to the finish line but kanna overtaken at the last minute!!! WAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA *evil grin*
At the end of the day, BH and myself were compensated for our earlier bad luck.. cause we won the lucky draw!! haha.. I got an AquaPac and a bottle of wine while BH won a $100 starhub voucher! So happy cause it was our first individual prize. LOl.
